... I’ve taken them for years and I just picked up my Feb 2022 supply: they’re e404 stamped and bottle marked Sandoz, but the surface of the pill is no longer flattened; it’s cylindrical. Am I tripping?

Btw I called CVS pharmacy; they confirmed they’re the Sandoz tablets and are clueless to the change in the pill front/back surface change. Again color is still orange and pills stamped with the signature e404.

Guys so does anyone know exactly. Is the new pill shape legit??? Please answer. Thank you
Yes, they changed their formula. If you experience reduced efficacy or adverse effects, please report it to the FDA here: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/medwatch/index.cfm?action=consumer.reporting1
In response to this ?:
I have a ? For Moon Pie
Your response is so helpful I did the same and contacted sandoz etc and older one (NDC end 401) expired so new NDC end 901 is new one
Can u double check if it’s the other way around because I can only take the older flat one (NDC end 401) not the new (NDC end 901)
The NDC list website shows 401 substance active ingredient starts with dextro then amph. The new 901 substance starts with amph then dextro. So I thought I finally figured out why I can’t take new one. (Also other searches I read ppl seem to agree dextro is better than amph etc. )
I have screen shots to explain the above. Let me know and thank u so much!!
I immediately noticed that they somehow sounded different so, I checked them to be sure I got the right medication. I literally stared at them until it occurred to me that they looked smaller & had a more prominent sheen…then I noticed that they weren’t really smaller just fatter because of the convex shape. I immediately thought that they may be counterfeit because counterfeit meds do end up at legitimate places like CVS sometimes. I’m going to try to confirm it with the manufacturer because I don’t love the sudden change without explanation :(
dude same here! not sure if the formula is any different, but the press sure is. definitely threw me for a loop when i opened the bottle
I called the manufacturer & spoke to a super helpful customer service rep. When I gave them the NDC# from this month & last month they were different. The flat pills are an amphetamine salts formula & the convex/rounded tablets are a dextroamphetamine formula. If I had thought to compare my bottles I would’ve noticed that but I didn’t…so…yep confirmed with Sandoz.
