I would monitor his blood pressure. Clonidine and lisinopril will lower bp. Risk for hypotension is concern. Clonidine works much faster and will lower bp faster. Clonidine can lower bp 20-60minutes post consuming.
Your bp may get low, take it a few times over the next 24 hrs. If you feel dizzy or pass out go to the er. How do you accidently take an extra dose of your medicine. This should not happen. Get a pill box that is divided into the days of the week, then you will know if you took the pills or not.
I was trying to take 2 tylenol tablets that where in the same pillbox, which I do have, but I was on the phone trying to calm my mother, who was having an alzehimer's episode and was very distracted trying to get her to calm herself, and took the wrong set of pills,as they all where round and white.I realized it inmediatly but had already swallow.thank you for taking time to answer my question,I do feel a little dumb.blessings to you.
I take several medicines daily and I accidently took my blood pressure twice today. It can be done easily when a person takes a lot of meds. Yeah a pill box helps but is a pain to fill every week >:(
I remembered after I became very dizzy and nauseous. I laid down and I remebered I DID take it earlier this morning then again when my daughter had left from visiting. I slept and had weird dreams but woke up 3 hrs later a little better. I just hope it doesn't do damage to kidneys or liver in the long run.
My husband accidentally took two doses of his norvasc... I took his blood pressure last night and it was high. 177/80 I wanted to take him to the er, but he said wait until we take it in the morning. This morning it was 149/79... that stubborn mule went to work... I'm making him a doctor appt for after work today. I wonder if it was high because he took two BP pills? I'm getting him a weekly pill container today!
