Example: Metformin 500mg = ___Units of long acting(Lantus) or short acting insulin(Apidra).(Injection Units)
Can 500mg of Metformin can be converted in to insulin units? as if compared to Lantus or Apidra?

I am responding to metformin. I use to take metformin till it started shutting down my vital organs.
No metformin is not what was shutting your organs ! It’s because you were an alcoholic and a smoker !
Of not. They work totally differently and metformin isn't insulin in any form. They are given for different reasons and one does not replace the other.
