Last time i took 4mg of Xanax on a Saturday morning about 1am and smoked a fat joint of marijuana, then come Monday i had a drug urine test and i passed, i drank a detox drink a couple hours before the test. So if i have a test in 7 hours do you think i will pass it then? I am about to go threw some high intensity cardio running and jump roping and i will sweat allot and drink ALLOT of water, plus i have a couple of "stat detox" pills and a detox drink that i will use if i find out my test is today. I am out on bond and the test they use seems cheap they just drop strips in it.
I just took a 2mg Xanax and I may have a drug test in 7hours will I fail it?

This is a really old question I posted a long time ago. I totally forgot about it until I received an email notification from some recent commenters. Now looking back I was so reckless. Well what happened was I was out on bond for about 8 months, and I had about 8 or 9 random drug test. The whole time I was using Xanax and marijuana, and I passed all of the drug test. The drug test were the cheap disposable kind where you urinate in a cup and then they put in a test strip to test for the drug metabolites. I never cheated on the drug test necessarily, I just drank A LOT of water and I used a supplement called creatine about 45 minutes before the drug test. Creatine can make you retain water and a lot of the detox drinks I found all had creatine in it as well, so I though there might be something to it.
I'm not sure if creatine really helped at all with passing the drug test or if it was just me pounding so much water that those cheap test couldn't find the drug metabolites because the metabolites were so diluted in water. It's kind of funny, I remember at the testing facility the testers would have us pee in cup and they would mark our names down on a napkin with the cup on it. Then another tester would put the strip inside the cup to see if it tested positive. Well I remember my cup was clear while everybody else's was dark yellow.
I now no longer use Xanax recreational any more because I don't like the feeling of having my mental faculties slowed. I'm now in college and I can't be taking Xanax like that because it just makes me temporarily dumber. Funny enough, I'm now prescribed alprazolam 0.5 mg as needed for panic but I barely take it. Instead, I cope with my anxiety and panic disorder with meditation which I think really works! Specifically, I practice what is called mindfulness meditation.

I agree with the other two posters. You are going to test pos for both Xanax (for sure) and marijuana. I dont put much faith in detox pills. In my experience only time and body metabolism gets drugs out of your body. Both of these drugs store up in fat and take a long time to be removed from the body by metabolism. I agree with GreenMommy (I think that was her name) you are palying with fire and exhibiting really stupid behavior and your freedom is at risk! If you dont want to go into lock up you'd better quit acting foolish! You are VERY lucky that you passed the Monday after smoking. Dont expect to be so lucky every time. You ARE going to get caught! I wouldnt risk MY freedom for a Xanax!

I agree why would we judge him over doing things to HIS own body? I am a pharmacist and I give out Xanax and Oxycodone so many times and I feel great making people feel better. i think these drugs are good for medical and recreational purposes. We are in America God Dammit! We are free to do what we want and take what we want! You want to overdose on Xanax and make me rich while doing it? Then Do it!

Those seemingly cheap drug test strips are very sensitive and highly accurate. I don't understand why getting loaded on silly things like pot and xanax would let you put your freedom at risk. I believe the pill will still be in your system. And you should also.know that UA tests are becoming more and more sensitive to being tricked. The old, put a fingertip of bleach in your pee trick is cause for a failed, by cause of dilution, drug analysis test.
