Here tmada; this is the maximum dose that should be taken over a short period of time this is copy and paste from the site drugs.com ( If no effect is observed after 6 weeks on 400 mg daily, a response is not likely and consideration should be given to alternate treatment options.) this is taking one 200mg capsule twice daily. And they have had some major warning and I would not recommend taking any more than that double check with your doctor.or Pharmacist. good luck
Thanks... the 200mg seems to be helping inflammation on foot due to car accident and alleviating some pain.
tmada; That is great that it is helping you with the pain and Inflammation, I have taken it for years but please try and keep it at 200mg twice a day there is no proof that any more than that does any good and because they have put it on the market and pulled it off several times do to heart problems in some patients very rare. nothing worked for me until this came back out and well worth the risk so don't worry. but try and stick to the maximum dose of one twice daily until you see the doctor again hope your feeling much better soon.
Im taking 100 mg celebrex twice a day morning and supper.
