I was gave a 500mg Antabuse tablet by a Dr at a clinic. Wednesday. I was supposed to continue taking it everyday but didn’t . Just the once . It’s been a whole 7 days should I be OK to have “burr”?
Took 1 500mg Antabuse. That’s it. None before or after just the one can I drink 7 days after?

"One Disulfiram pill can last in the body for a very long time. This is because of the Antabuse half-life, which is between 60 to 120 hours. The Disulfiram half-life means that this is the amount of time it takes for half the drug to exit the body. As much as 20% of one dose of Antabuse can remain in the body for a week, or even longer in some cases. This means that you could react negatively to alcohol for as long as 2 weeks."
Thank you ! I’ve since drank some PBR , had no reactions . May have been given a placebo. Like I said I’m not a alcoholic it’s just the medication I’m given CAN be dangerous if alcoholism is a factor
