Prevents the development of horn flies, stable flies, house flies and face flies in the manure of treated cattle (lactating and non-lactating beef and dairy cows, slaughter, stocker and feeder cattle and calves, including veal calves). When mixed in feed or mineral supplements prevents the development and emergence of horn flies, stable flies, house flies and face flies in the manure of treated cattle.

Use Information

Termi-Fly® Feedthrough is an insect growth regulator used to prevent the development of infestations of horn fly, stable fly, house fly and face fly in the manure of treated beef and dairy cattle and calves. When mixed with feed or mineral supplements, diflubenzuron, the active ingredient in Termi-Fly® Feedthrough passes through the digestive tract and into the feces in sufficient concentration to kill fly larvae. Termi-Fly® Feedthrough controls the infestation by inhibiting the development of horn fly, stable fly, house fly and face fly larvae in the manure and feces of treated animals.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. There is no withdrawal period for Termi-Fly® Feedthrough. Uniformly mix into the feed or mineral supplements. A pre-mixture is recommended to guarantee uniform dispersion in the final feed product.

A pre-mixture consists of mixing the total amount of Termi-Fly® Feedthrough to be used, in a small amount of feed or mineral supplement and only then mix this into the rest of the feed or mineral supplement which is to be treated.

This product is an insect growth regulator used to prevent the development of infestations of horn fly, stable fly, house fly, and face fly in the manure of treated beef and dairy cattle and calves.

***When the use of free choice mineral is recommended for beef and dairy cattle in pasture, the feeding rate is determined by the sodium chloride content. A 25% sodium chloride content determines a rate of 4 oz/day.

Mixed Ration Feeding

The table below is a guide for mixing 3%-DFBZ Feedthrough with grain or feed supplement. The mixing and feeding rates of 3%-DFBZ Feedthrough in the table below or calculated from the equation will provide the daily intake not in excess of 0.10 mg diflubenzuron/kg body weight (4.54 mg/100 lbs of body weight per day). Do not feed more 3%-DFBZ Feedthrough (g head/day) than stated in the table or at a rate of more than 150mg/ 100 lb body weight.
