Description

REBOUND^® Recuperation Formula for Cats is a highly palatable and ready-to use, low calorie liquid formula which supports healthy eating and drinking. It provides essential nutrients recommended to support the cat from the earliest stages of recuperation.

PROPERTIES:

Ingredient	Benefit
Arginine	Amino acid, precursor of nitric oxide has an important role for immune function.
Taurine	Organic substance having antioxidant properties and essential for the cardiovascular system; has important function for skeletal muscles, for the retina and the central nervous system.
Glutamine	Important role for the maintenance of the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract and the immune system.
Essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and Omega 6)	These fatty acids are required for biological processes and for synthesis of prostaglandins, leukotrienes and thromboxanes.
Prebiotics (Inulin and fructooligosaccharides)	Prebiotics are natural soluble fibers found in low concentrations in many plants that support the growth and activity of bacteria that are beneficial to health in the digestive system.
Vitamins	Vital organic compounds required by an organism that must be obtained from the diet or specific supplementation.

Free from artificial preservatives and colouring agents.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

To open the bottle for the first time, unscrew the white cap and perforate the safety film.

● Shake well before use.
Light sedimentation is normal.

● Give a total daily volume of 3 mL/lb. The exact amount may be adjusted by the veterinarian for the individual animal. Small frequent feedings are suggested in the earlier stages of recuperation. Use the measuring cup provided.

● REBOUND^® Recuperation Formula for Cats can be given alone, mixed with water or added to food. The liquid form also enables tube or syringe feeding. Not for parenteral use. Water should be available at all times.

PHASE 1:

From the earliest hours of recuperation, the cat can be given REBOUND^® Recuperation Formula for Cats in order to achieve rehydration and a supply of essential nutrients.

PHASE 2:

After 48 hours, introduction of feeding is necessary. To increase tolerance, small and repeated intakes of high energy and highly digestible nutrients are recommended in addition to REBOUND^® Recuperation Formula for Cats.

PHASE 3:

REBOUND^® Recuperation Formula for Cats can be given with the usual diet to help the pet return to its normal diet.

The liquid form also enables syringe or tube feeding.
