Hot Nail Solution Caution

Do not apply on hair or heel area-only apply Hot Nail solution on the hoof. Do not use on animals intended for human consumption. Keep away from children. Keep in a cool, dry place. Keep away from fire, flame or excessive heat. If your skin comes in contact with this product, immediately wash affected area with soap and water. Harmful if swallowed.

For: Use on tender-footed horses.

Directions: For the treatment of tenderness due to improperly placed nails: Remove the nail or nails in question, then insert the bottle’s nozzle into the nail hole on the sole of the hoof; squeeze gently. Repeat process as necessary.

For the treatment of tender footed horses: Hoof should be clean and dry. Two hours prior to competition or use, apply Hot Nail solution to the entire bottom of a clean, dry hoof; reapply Hot Nail solution every 15 minutes (i.e., apply approximately eight times over a two-hour period prior to using the horse). For the treatment of thresh: Clean and dry the hoof. Gently insert the bottle’s nozzle into the site of the thrush and carefully squeeze the bottle, thoroughly saturating the affected area. Repeat this process at least three times a week. It may be helpful to place cotton on the affected frog and saturate it with Hot Nail solution. Using a hoof pick, gently press the cotton into the area with the thrush.
