For the vaccination of dogs against Crotalus atrox toxin. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. This product license is conditional; efficacy and potency have not been fully demonstrated. For more information regarding safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Recommended for use by or under the direction of a veterinarian. For use in animals only. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Do not mix with other products. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Two doses are recommended, spaced one month apart. Historically, revaccination annually has been recommended for this product. The need for this booster has not been established. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency. Each dose is 1 cc. Administer this vaccine subcutaneously off the mid line.

Occasionally, swelling may occur at the injection site. Such swellings typically resolve in a few days without intervention but may occasionally require empirical treatment depending upon the presentation. Rarely, anaphylactic or other adverse systemic reactions may occur. If an anaphylactic reaction occurs, appropriate therapy with epinephrine or other antianaphylactic drugs should be instituted immediately. Any adverse reactions following vaccination should be immediately reported to the manufacturer. Contains thimerosal as a preservative.
