Mono-and diglycerides, Gallic acid, Wheat, Silicon Dioxide, Gelatin.

Directions For Use

Calves (new-borns and older): 1 capsule orally per day for 7 consecutive days.

Capsule Administration: Carefully remove the capsule from the packaging. Administer to calves using a plastic capsule applicator for capsule size 12 EL 15 mm diameter) Place the capsule in the applicator with the round side facing outside If right handed, position yourself at the calf’s right side Gently hold the calf’s upper jaw with your left hand If left handed, position yourself suitably Keep the calf’s head at a natural position and slightly towards yourself Gently guide the loaded applicator into the calf’s mouth When you feel resistance, gently guide the applicator over the tongue When the applicator is behind the tongue, squeeze the handle to release the capsule Wait a moment for the calf to swallow and then remove the applicator To assist passage of the capsule down the esophagus and to stimulate a swallowing reflex, stroke the surface of the tongue or the outside of the throat Ensure that the calf has access to fresh water at all times.

A capsule may block the airway if not properly administered, or if not swallowed Look for signs of breathing difficulty for 5 minutes after administering the capsule The capsule applicator should be cleaned and dried after use.

This VHP may not be incorporated into a mixed feed Do not use broken or damaged capsules Do not use excessive force when administering to the calf Calves should be properly restrained for capsule administration Do not administer to calves lying down, or to calves without a normal swallowing reflex Do not use in immunosuppressed animals.

Warnings

No withdrawal period is required when used according to the label. Keep out of the reach of children.
