"First diagnosed in 2017, surgery and on tamoxifen for 3 years. In May 2023, a PET CT showed two lymph nodes in the armpit and one in the internal mammary that tested positive. I had surgery for the axillary node, but the internal mammary was in an inoperative condition. I received nodal radiation and a treatment of 600 mg of ribociclib, 2.5 mg of letrozole, and zoladex every 3 months. My medical oncologist told me that everything would be good after 4 rounds, and he was right; my PET CT was clear. Now I am in remission with the adjuvant setting, and my dose of ribociclib has been reduced to 400 mg prescribed for 3 years. The side effects are mainly hot flashes, which I discussed with my doctor, and he told me that it is because of zoladex and that I have to bear with it. Otherwise, it is very tolerable."

Kisqali (ribociclib) "Just diagnosed. One month so far. 600mg. I take them with dinner, and no nausea. Mild headaches, so drink lots of water. Constipation, so again, drink your water. Stool softener will help. Mild rash, no itching. Light hair loss in the shower. Fatigue is prevalent."
