"I had open heart surgery in 2019, and when my surgery was done and I was removed from heart machine, the surgeon gave me protamine. My heart stopped and I had to have my heart restarted. Now I need to have heart surgery again, but because protamine stopped my heart the first time, I'm told I will die if they do the surgery because of the protamine reaction. Isn't there any alternative medicines that can be used instead of protamine?"
