Nucala (mepolizumab) "Nucala has been a game changer for me. I suffered from nasal polyps, severe asthma, and sinusitis for 20+ years. I was dependent on prednisone (20 years on a daily basis) and other maintenance and rescue medications. I've had multiple sinus surgeries. After one month of being on Nucala, my polyps cleared and the asthma and sinusitis went away. I have been on Nucala for 5 years now and it is still working wonderfully. This drug is nothing short of miraculous. So grateful for Nucala! I have not experienced any side effects from Nucala. 10+++"

Nucala (mepolizumab) "I am 72 years old and have had stage 3 nasal polyps for 8 years. I just received my second shot of Nucala and have not experienced any side effects from this drug. Before treatment, I would wake up every hour to blow my nose to breathe and prevent mucus from draining onto my pillow. Now, I am able to sleep for up to 2 hours before needing to clear my sinuses, so the drug is definitely moving me in the right direction. If you have concerns about the listed side effects, don't worry. Start taking Nucala and regain control of your life. It's difficult for me to provide a complete rating for the drug since I haven't fully experienced the effects of my second shot, but I would give it a 7 based on the improvement I saw after the first shot. One last thing to note is that the injection process is straightforward and simple. After receiving 2 injections and training at a clinic, you can administer the injections at home and avoid clinic trips if you feel comfortable using an EpiPen to inject yourself."

Nucala (mepolizumab) "I have used Nucala for 5 years for chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps. I had 5 sinus surgeries before beginning Nucala and within 2-3 weeks my polyps were already growing back! I also have asthma and have been on long-term prednisone for years to manage my asthma and sinus problems. My sinus issues caused me more grief than my asthma because I could not breathe through my nose and had no sense of smell. I pretty much hated my life because of its quality of it and nothing could bring me relief! Finally, a new asthma doctor suggested testing for Eosinophils and mine were very high, so I was prescribed Nucala 100 mg auto-injector. By the end of the first week, I could breathe, and by the end of the second month, I could smell again. I have used my rescue inhaler twice in 5 years and haven't had a drop of prednisone in 5 years! It has been a miracle drug for me, and I have told hundreds of people who suffer from the same issues, I have had zero side effects."
