Toradol shot for siatic nerve pain??

I got a shot of Toradol today for my sciatica. It worked wonders for me. I went from hunched over with a cane to standing straight. I also got a steroid shot at the same time. Hoping that my pain doesn’t return with a vengeance tomorrow.

This shot did NOTHING for my sciatica.

I had a bulging disc in my neck. It was pinching a nerve going down my arm. A shot of toradol was the best thing for it. I felt absolutely no pain for twelve hours. Problem is you can only have three shots a month.

I've had the Toradol shots as well. Didn't touch me an hour after having it done they had to give me shot of Dilaudid. But it may work for you. Everyone's body reaponds to medications differently. So i would give it a try. And if no help in pain relief please don't be afraid to tell them so. God bless and hope it works out for you. Please let us know how it went. Mickey

I was givin a toradol shot after my last procedure Radio Frequency Ablation and it didnt help easing any of my pain from the procedure or the normal nerve pain I suffer, not one bit ..

I have had several Toradol shots for my siatic nerve pain and found that it didn't do much for helping my pain. Maybe a few hours of slight relief. But we are all different, it may help you a lot. It's worth a try and if you get no relief you can always tell them you don't want more of them. I don't think it's that strong so maybe it will help you without side affects, I hope so.

Let me know how it went if you do get one. I never had side affects from Toradol but we are all different as to how we react to different meds.

I have been give the Toradol injection several times for inflammation. It works better on bone/joint and some nerve pain. It did help with my sciatica. You should at least try it.

Toradol is a wonderful medication for pain. Some say it works as well as or better than morphine but toradol is a strong NSAID, it is not an opioid (or narcotic) medication. I think you should definitely try it!
