Administration advice:
- Patient should fast for at least 4 hours prior to administration. False positives (non-visualization) may result if the gallbladder has been emptied by food ingestion.
- Allow an interval of at least 24 hours before repeat examination.
- Contents of the reaction vial are intended only for use in the preparation of technetium Tc99m mebrofenin. Do not administer directly to the patient.
- Inspect for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration.
- Use within 18 hours of reconstitution.
Storage requirements:
- Store the kit as supplied at 20C to 25C (68F to 77F) prior to and following reconstitution.
