For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "I have Severe Gastroparesis with cyclic vomiting and I've tried every nausea med on the market, except for Sancuso, until just recently. Oh my, it works AMAZINGLY well but, at nearly $1500 a pop, you would THINK they could come up with a longer lasting adhesive that actually lasted more than 24 hours before falling off?! I've thoroughly cleaned each site and it STILL won't stay on! Taped the edges - nope. Used Tegaderm - STILL a no! How about making a patch with a wide band of MUCH stronger adhesive around all of the edges? This product works but does NOT last for 7 days, maybe 24hrs if you're lucky. PLEASE don't take advantage of those of us who NEED this and fix your product!"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "Beg your doctor or nurse to try this patch for your chemo, as many have not heard of it yet!! It works wonderful. It is however very expensive and many drug stores do not carry it. None of the popular drug chains have it, I had to go to a large privately owned drug store to get it, about 30 miles away. But it is worth it!! At times it loosens up, the nurse gives me a trans patch to cover it up and that works for the week I wear it."

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "Does wonders for my nausea WHEN it actually stays on! Problem is it’s constantly falling off. For something so expensive I would think they could find a better adhesive! I even put Tegaderm over it but it still barely lasts seven days."

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "The medicine itself worked. The patch adhesive is a loser fail. Besides being on chemo I am a nurse, so of course I read direction (new med I never heard of/along c application directions). Patch fell off in my sleep 24 hrs after application. Being a nurse advocate I called the med line to say they need better adhesive and found out abt patch replacement. The kicker is they want dr to fill out more forms for it. Sorry but as nurse I don't have time to run all paperwork I need for dr/patients and company wants more time away from md patients. REALLY! They can send replacement to dr, or pharmacy, but why the extra needed documentation. Oops I guess the patients must lie. So good med or not, manufacture is a 0 in this nurses opi"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "The patch was/is a great idea and wonderful when it works... meaning when it stays on. Luckily my insurance covers it or I would not be using it because it is extremely expensive!!! I always place it on the morning before my chemo but it’s normally falling off or already peeling off within 24-48 hours which according to the pharmacist and patch label it is supposed to last much longer. When my doctors called in more refills due to this, I am unable to get them because insurance will NOT pay even though the patch came off due to the adhesive is not very good!!! As much as this medical patch costs you would think that you could create or develop a better adhesive... maybe you need to contact Thrive and ask them for their adhesive formula!!!"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "This Sancuso patch did help with my nausea, however it did make me extremely dizzy. My insurance covered one patch per treatment. I had it on for about 3 days and had to take it off. The dizziness was worse than the nausea on another med for me, unfortunately."

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "The company that makes this should be ashamed of themselves, taking advantage of the terminally ill, cancer patients, people who are already physically sick. This makes me mentally sick how you want to charge me so much for these patches. I just hope one day the people who make this don't need anything sick related, I wish you all the best when you are in need! These patches do not last 5 days and are easily falling off, again to be spending that much money on something should last like it says,and stay on. I for one can not afford these, I was lucky to get the sample I did, but hey that's for making it easy on us to be your prey!!"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "My wife uses Sancuso patch for nausea during her chemo. This is her 4th day back on chemo, and using her 3rd patch in 4 days because it does not stick to her skin which has been clean and dry and prepped. Applied by nurse according to directions. Expensive waste of 2 needed patches now. The pharmacy that ships them said to save the old patches for replacement from the company. What d we do now??"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "So far this is working. I am now on day 5 of my cycle and feel very well. No issues with the patch staying on, but I was careful to clean skin with clean hot water and completely dry it before applying the patch. It has not even begun to come lose. I will update again, as I am usually very ill for around 2 weeks, so have another patch to apply on day 7. Fingers crossed!"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "This Sancuso patch saved me! I had no nausea using the patch. The only draw back is that is doesn't stick very well and comes off easily if you don't put another bandage over it. When mine did come off I immediately felt nauseous!"

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "Absolute game changer for me regarding my chemo-induced nausea. I didn't get it until my second round, and I'm doing better now than I was in the beginning. I have not had issues with the patch falling off. It's stayed stuck tight all 7 days. This drug seriously feels like a miracle. Zofran only kept me from actively vomiting. This gave me back my life. My social worker got this for me as a sample because it's very expensive and I'm stuck in the gap waiting for COBRA to kick in. I recommend trying that option if possible."

For Nausea/Vomiting, Chemotherapy Induced "Medication works very well to control nausea from chemotherapy. Patch does not stay on arm well. After day one it started to peel off. Doctor had to give me an office sample to replace it."
