Rezafungin Levels and Effects while Breastfeeding

Summary of Use during Lactation

No information is available on the use of rezafungin during breastfeeding. Because rezafungin is about 90% bound to plasma proteins and has poor oral bioavailability, it is unlikely to reach the milk and be absorbed by the infant. If rezafungin is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding.
