Serious side effects of Telotristat

Along with its needed effects, telotristat may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

• passing gas
• rapid weight gain
• tingling of the hands or feet
• tiredness
• trouble concentrating
• trouble sleeping
• unusual weight gain or loss

Very common (10% or more): Abdominal pain (up to 26%), nausea (up to 13%)

Common (1% to 10%): Abdominal distention, constipation, flatulence

Frequency not reported: Gastrointestinal pain, lower abdominal pain, serious constipation, upper abdominal pain^[Ref]

Hepatic

Very common (10% or more): Increased GGT (up to 11%)

Common (1% to 10%): ALT increased, AST increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased
