Applies to chloroprocaine ophthalmic: ophthalmic gel.

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Call your doctor at once if you have:

• vision changes.

Common side effects may include:

• dilated pupils;

• severe eye redness; or

• discomfort of the eye.

General

Most common adverse reaction were mydriasis, conjunctival hyperemia, and eye irritation.^[Ref]

Ocular

Very common (10% or more): Mydriasis (26%), conjunctival hyperemia (11%)

Common (1% to 10%): Eye irritation^[Ref]
