Formula ingredients contain not more than 0.3% Phosphorus, 0.09 g/L, (0.3 g/US gal) of recommended use concentration.

Directions For Use

To prepare a 1% active caustic solution, use 25 mL of XXL Detergent Concentrate per litre of water (3.2 US fl oz/US Gal).

For CIP product lines, use 5.1 mL/L of XXL Detergent Concentrate (0.65 US fl oz/US Gal) of 66-74°C/150-165°F water for 30-90 minutes (minimum of 12 minutes at temperature per circuit).

For CIP cold product storage tanks, use 5.1 mL/L of XXL Detergent Concentrate (0.65 US fl oz /US Gal) of 57-60°C/135-140°F water.

For CIP processing vats, use 12.5-19.5 mL/L of XXL Detergent Concentrate (1.6-2.5 US fl oz/US Gal) of 71°C/160°F water for 40-45 minutes.

For CIP HTST, to obtain a 0.75-1.0% active caustic solution of XXL Detergent Concentrate, use 18.7-25 mL/L of XXL Detergent Concentrate (2.4-3.2 US fl oz/US Gal) of 81-82°C/178-180°F water for 45-60 minutes.

XXL Detergent Concentrate should be used at a concentration of up to 2% causticity in water at 66°C/150°F for 30 minutes in a soak tank, or less time if agitation is applied. The concentration and cleaning time may vary, depending on the nature and quality of soil. Drain solution and rinse thoroughly with cold water.

Avoid food contamination during application and storage. Do not store in food processing areas.

Rinse surfaces thoroughly with potable water after use.

Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/ eye protection/ face protection.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/ Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/ shower. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
